The battery has a life of life. If you do not understand the electrical characteristics of the battery, you will not pay attention to maintenance, it will cause capacity loss to fail, once the battery capacity is lowered, the predetermined discharge time does not guarantee the transmission of TV programs. And even cause a major responsibility accident, so we must understand the performance of the battery and can use and maintain correctly.
In order to maintain the capacity of GFM lead-acid batteries and extend its service life, we summarize the following maintenance methods according to practical experience:
(1) Maintain a suitable spacing. The rethink of oxygen causes more heat in the battery, but the amount of gas discharged is small, reducing the loss of heat, the internal temperature of the battery is usually high, so the battery should be placed in a well-ventilated position, and the arrangement cannot be too close, There should be at least 10 mm spacing between the monomer battery.
(2) Maintain a suitable temperature. The temperature is too high, the chemical reaction accelerates, lead, lead, and acid is enhanced, and sulfurized acidification is prone to reduce life; the temperature is too low, the sulfuric acid is viscous, the electronic free velocity is slow, the electrode activity is poor, and the battery capacity is lowered. 10 ~ 30 ¡ã C is a preferred temperature, and various means can be adjusted using various means according to the actual situation.
(3) Maintain clean and hygiene. Wipe the dust on the battery and the chassis per week, keep the battery clean. There is too much dust accumulation, which will make the battery pack connection point contact, change the voltage value when the battery charge and discharge is changed, and it is easy to cause malfunctions. When wiping the battery, remember to use a dry cloth or brush, preferably use a vacuum cleaner.
(4) Tour once every day. Every day, it is necessary to check the battery. When you think there is a microalic acid odor in the air, if there is a microalidal odor, it is the acid mist discharged in the battery. It is necessary to perform ventilation treatment in time; two should be seen in the shape of the battery, the terminal and safety of the battery The valve has no fluid, whether the safety valve can be turned normally, and the battery is replaced if necessary.
(5) Test the voltage value per week. The single floating voltage of the battery is 2.25V, not less than 2.16V. When the voltage is selected, the individual batteries will fail due to the lapse of long-term charging, and the voltage is too high, and the amount of gas overflow is increased, and the gas regeneration is low. The unit charging value of the battery is 2.35V, which should not exceed 2.40V. The charge voltage will cause excessive charging current. The heat generated will increase the temperature of the electrolyte, and the temperature increase will cause the battery to reduce the internal resistance. The decrease in the resistance increases the charging current, so that the battery will deform and crack. Note: When testing the voltage value of the battery, be sure to measure on both ends of the battery pack. If it is tested at other disposal, the voltage drop will be generated, and the results of the test are not very accurate.
(6) Measure the voltage value of the cell battery monthly. Multiple targets are used in series to use the phenomenon that the voltage is imbalanced. The voltage is long-term unevenly, which is easy to generate backward batteries. If the battery is not fully charged, the discharge depth in the subsequent discharge will be further aggravated, and after charging, it is more backward. In this way, the more the charge and discharge is, the more prominent it is not balanced, resulting in the failure of the backward battery. Therefore, the voltage value of each single battery should be measured monthly, "all charge" to a battery lower than 2.2V, so that it returns to a fully charged state to avoid the failure of individual backward batteries.
(7) One charge, discharge every half year, there are two benefits: 1 can detect the capacity of the battery to assess the capacity of the battery; 2 can eliminate sulfate. There are two types of discharge mode, one is the load direct discharge (using a large load), that is, cut off the external power supply, and the direct storage of the entire capacity is 70%; the other is a fake load discharge (load is used hours). If the fake load is connected to the two ends of the battery pack, cut off the external power supply is powered by the battery. When starting the discharge, it will increase the current. Do not immediately remove the fake load immediately, wait for the battery After the group is removed, the risk of arc is generated when the large current is completely sued.
(8) The voltage should not be lower than the termination voltage value during discharge. After the battery is discharged to the termination voltage, the voltage will drop sharply. If it continues to discharge, the amount of electricity obtained is small, the meaning is not large, and the battery life is lowered, so it should stop the discharge by discharging the voltage to the termination voltage value. . Different discharge rates, the termination voltage value is also different, the discharge rate is large, the resulting sulfate is less, even when the discharge is relatively low, the plate is not damaged, the single battery can be discharged to 1.75V; the discharge rate is small Then, the amount of sulfate is significantly increased, and the active material expansion produces stress, resulting in a polar bending or active substance to fall off, affecting the battery life of the battery, so it requires higher termination voltage values, generally 1.80 to 1.85V.
(9) Do not excessively discharge. The GFM lead-acid battery is in the cycle, its life is mainly dependent on the depth of discharge. The deeper the discharge depth, the thickening between the mutual binding between PBO2 particles, is easy to fall off, and the cycle life will be shortened. When the discharge depth reaches 50%, it is necessary to access the generator to supply power, and the battery capacity is restored and then powered.
(10) The new old battery is not mixed as much as possible, because the new battery voltage is fast during the charging process, which is easy to cause the old battery to be unsatisfactory, which is always in the undervoltage working state, which affects the battery life.
(11) The idle battery is charged once, because the long-term idle battery negative will form a coarse, difficult to accept charging PBSO4 crystals, this phenomenon is referred to as irreversible sulfate, causing the battery to have expired. The service life of the battery is generally around 8 years.
