Commonly used lead-acid batteries can be divided into components of a positive electrode plate, an a negative plate, a partition, a bus bar, a housing, an electrolyte, and a wiring pile. Among them, the negative electrode plate is mainly composed of lead, responsible for storing electrical energy in the battery. For the same battery, the number of positive and negative plates determines the size of the battery capacity, the more the number of plates, the greater the battery capacity.
The partition is composed of insulating porous material
It is mainly to prevent positive and negative short circuits and help to prevent the falling of the surface active substance from being dropped and adsorbed to store a certain amount of electrolyte. The electrolyte is the medium of the active material transfer between the battery positive and negative electrodes, and is the environmental basis of the battery charge and discharge.
The respective plates are connected in series, which corresponds to the internal wires of the battery. The wiring pile is a component that is connected to the body circuit, which is equivalent to the power socket. The role of the housing must not be said to store battery components and electrolyte.
It is mainly based on the chemical reaction inside itself, and chemical can be converted into electrical energy. This process is relatively complicated, and there is no great relationship with our daily cars, so don't have to do more in detail, this is just simply explaining what phenomenon in the battery will occur during charge and discharge.
The sulflic acid in the electrolyte will continue to decrease, and the water is gradually increased; the charging process is exactly the opposite, and the water in the electrolyte is continuously reduced, and sulfuric acid will continue to increase. At the end of charging, the water is broken down into hydrogen, oxygen gas precipitation, so that the water in the battery will be increasing, which is why the battery needs to be added to distilled water from time to time.
